The Department of English at People’s College is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive education in language and literature. With a focus on both theoretical and practical skills, our aim is to prepare students for a wide range of careers and advanced study.

In addition to traditional coursework, the department features a state-of-the-art Language Lab that offers students the opportunity to enhance their English language skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our students have access to a variety of resources, including computer-based language learning tools, audio and video materials, and interactive activities.

One of our most popular offerings is a course in Communicative English, which is designed by the state Government to help students improve their speaking, listening, and writing skills. Through a variety of activities, including role-playing, debates, and group discussions, students have the opportunity to practice using English in real-life situations.

Our faculty is comprised of highly qualified and experienced educators who are dedicated to helping students succeed. In addition to their expertise in language and literature, many of our faculty members have expertise in preparing excellent audio-visual contents for the benefit of students’ mass at large.
